Our Glass Microfibre Filter Paper is manufactured from 100% borosilicate glass fibres, without binders.
The filter's extensive surface area features a depth structure that offers exceptional impurity retention capacity while maintaining a low filter resistance. This combination ensures optimal filtration performance.
Glass fibre filters possess remarkable adsorption capabilities for capturing even the finest particles, effectively removing impurities as small as 1Γò¼ΓòØm from liquids, and <1Γò¼ΓòØm from air and gases. The electrostatic interaction between the glass fibres and gases is superior to that between glass fibres and liquids, allowing for efficient separation even in aerosols with particles of this size.
Our 1.2Γò¼ΓòØm is specifically designed for the accurate assessment of solids suspended in water, aligning with the parameters established by the EN-872:2005 European regulation and the American Standard Methods norm 2540D. It is a highly suitable choice for various applications related to water control, wastewater analysis, and clarification processes. Moreover, within biochemical tests, it proves valuable in the analysis of carbohydrates, cellular cultures, and other relevant substances.
These filters demonstrate excellent temperature resistance, withstanding temperatures up to 500Γö¼ΓòæC.
